On June 22, 2017, the DiDIY Project will present its research results in its final conference in Milan. Agenda and other details are available here.
Wouter Tebbens and Marco Fioretti of the Free Knowledge Institute will present the Digital DIY project, its current status and some of its preliminary findings, at the Paris Open Source Summit. The Digital DIY Project is organising a whole Community Day, consisting of several workshops and a conference. The Community Day will be Wednesday July 6th, in Barcelona, Spain. To have an idea of what we will cover, please have a look at our Fact Sheets, and at our case studies on Work, Education, Law and Creativity.
Can the "Makers Revolution" exit makerspaces, to really reach and benefit the WHOLE society? What are the main obstacles towards that goal, as far as laws and regulations are concerned?
