A talk by M. Fioretti at the 2017 edition of ForumPA, the biggest event in Italy about innovation in/by Public Administrations.
A meeting with makers, activists, and representatives of several cooperatives working in the circular/sharing economy and digital manufacturing sectors in Barcelona, to present the long-term potential of DiDIY in the same sectors
Wouter Tebbens has co-lead the "Digital Commons in a "glocal" world" panel of the Regional European Conference of the International Association of the Commons in Bern, Switzerland.
The Things Network is an initiative to build a distributed wireless data network for connecting "things" to the net, fully owned and controlled by its users. The Internet of Things (IoT) typically consists of electronic devices with sensors and actuators that transmit small bits of data to the net. The Things Network (TTN) uses a free spectrum radio technology called LoRaWAN, that is Long Range, using low bandwidth and low power.
