UK partner David Gauntlett talks about creativity and making
The project DiDIY was presented by Prof. Luca Mari to the Consiglio Regionale of Regione Lombardia, led by the President Raffaele Cattaneo, during a visit to the MakerBot Innovation Center at LIUC - Università Cattaneo, aimed to know the activities of SmartUp - Laboratorio Fabbricazione Digitale and Lab#ID.
The project DiDIY was explained at MA*GA Museum (in Gallarate - Varese) by Mauro Mezzenzana during the presentation of AMAmI (Antico e Moderno Ambient Intelligence), a project aimed at valorizing cultural heritage through Ambient Intelligence technologies such as Apps and BLE beacons.
Luca Mari, from LIUC – Università Cattaneo, presented the project Digital Do It Yourself at “Stati Generali Ricerca e Innovazione” organized by Regione Lombardia in Milan, at Palazzo Regione Lombardia, on November 30, 2015.
Luca Cremona from Lab#ID and SmartUp – LFD (LIUC – Università Cattaneo) presented the DiDIY project at Global Summit Logistics & Manufacturing - organized by Concordia Srl at Lazise (VR) on 18 to 19 November 2015 - during his speech on “Digital manufacturing in ambito logistico e produttivo" (Digital manufacturing in logistics and production”.
Luca Cremona from Lab#ID and SmartUp – LFD (LIUC – Università Cattaneo) presents the DiDIY project during the webinar “Industria 4.0: tecnologie e applicazioni per le aziende italiane” (Industry 4.0: technologies and applications for Italian companies”) organized by The Innovation Group.
An overview of the DiDIY phenomenon, and of how, and why, the DiDIY Project intends to study it
A general introduction to the DiDIY project, that answering the H2020 call for a "Human centric digital age", has been designed to be highly interdisciplinary and will look at organization and work, but also training and research, ethics, legal aspects such as the protection of intellectual property and - not least - creativity.
Lab#ID (the laboratory of LIUC – Università Cattaneo focused on Radio Frequency Identification and Near Field Communication) is involved in "La Notte dei Ricercatori 2015" (European Researchers' Night)on September 26, 2015 (from 15.00 to 20.00) at Piazza Monte Grappa, Varese.
